Commitment to Trustworthy News Indicators

We hereby declare our commitment and dedication to uphold and implement the Trustworthy News Indicators as a guideline for governance and editorial practices within our media organization.

The indicators include:

  1. Upholding and adhering to the Journalistic Code of Ethics and the Online Media Reporting Guidelines as the primary editorial work standards.

  2. Prioritizing journalistic work for the public interest.

  3. Conducting journalistic activities objectively and honestly, and refraining from any practice of plagiarism.

  4. Meeting the press company standards and complying with the press verification process as mandated by law and the Press Council’s regulations.

  5. Disclosing openly to readers the persons in charge, address, organizational structure of the editorial and management teams, as well as the ownership of the company.

  6. Respecting diversity, minority groups, and human rights guaranteed under the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

  7. Not promoting or advertising prohibited products such as narcotics, illegal drugs, illegal weapons, or smuggled goods.

  8. Not publishing or expressing support for acts of terrorism or racism.

  9. Producing editorials that protect children and women who are victims of violence, bullying, pornography, sexual crimes, and gender-based discrimination.

  10. Clearly labeling and distinguishing between news, opinion, and advertorial or sponsored/paid content, in a way that is easily recognizable to readers.

  11. Respecting and protecting the personal data and privacy rights of readers and website visitors.
